Shipping & Delivery
We use a combination of shipping carriers depending on the type of item purchased as well as the State the item is being shipped. We normally ship to you within 3-4 days unless an item is out of stock.
Please also note that some items are unique, hard to obtain, or one-of-a-kind, so Flint Armament reserves the right to cancel your order should an item not be available to ship.
Some items, such as handguns and ammunition, may not be legal to ship to your State. Please check local and state laws prior to purchasing. It is YOUR responsibility to check your local laws prior to placing an order. All firearms will be shipped to a Federal Firearms License holder in your State for transfer. They will typically charge a nominal fee for the transfer that you will be responsible for paying. All shipping charges are applicable to the lower 48 States. If you are outside if this area please email us for a quote prior to purchase. All Powder and Primer orders will incur an additional $40 hazardous shipping fee. This fee will be billed separately from your initial order. Power and Primers CANNOT be shipped in the same order. A hazardous shipping fee will applied to each order. Oversized accessories, this does not apply to firearms, may incur and extra shipping charge. If you have a question on shipping charges please ask and we will be happy to let you know prior to making the purchase.
Items such as Ammunition, Prepper Spray, Tasers, Airguns, and Knives require an adult signature. The fee for adult signature is $ 5.25 and will be added to your order.
NOTE: We make every effort to get your order shipped as fast as possible. In some circumstances, especially during sales and after weekends, we may not get your order shipped in the time specified. Please rest assured that we will ship your item as soon as we can.
Privacy & Security
(a) ATA has established a Privacy Policy to explain to users how their information is collected and used which is listed at the top of this page.
(b) Your use of the ATA website or the Service constitutes your acceptance and agreement to our Privacy Policy. ATA may, in its sole discretion, preserve or disclose your Content as well as your information such as email addresses, IP addresses, timestamps and other user information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such preservation or disclosure is reasonably necessary or appropriate including, without limitation, disclosure to:
(i) comply with legal process;
(ii) enforce or comply with this User Agreement;
(iii) respond to claims that any Content violates the rights of Third Parties;
(iv) respond to claims that contact information (e.g. phone number, street address) of a Third Party has been posted or transmitted without their consent or as a form of harassment; or
(v) protect the rights, property or safety of ATA or the site users.
(c) The ATA website permits you to post your personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, physical address, etc. ATA strongly discourages you from posting your specific personal information because it will be available to anyone with internet access. ATA cannot guarantee the privacy or security of your information and, therefore, we strongly encourage you to utilize ATA's blind email feature which gives others limited access to your personal information.
Returns & Replacements
Should the need arise we will do our best to cancel an order at no charge provided that it is cancelled by 5:00pm EST on the day of order. We work fast to fill orders, so please contact us immediately if you need to cancel an order. If an order cancellation request occurs after 5:00pm EST on the date the order was placed, it is agreed that the customer will pay a 10% cancellation fee. This is to help offset costs incurred by Flint Armament.
Returns on accessories are accepted for merchandise that is defective unless it has been modified or installed in a build (those items will be subject to manufacturer warranty). Flint Armament will provide a refund or exchange on all other accessories found defective provided that the customer notifies us of the defect within 5 days of the item being delivered. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. If a prepaid return label is provided, it will be deducted from the refund (in addition to the restocking fee). Please do not return packages prior to receiving a return authorization. Please use the “Contact Us” form to receive a return authorization.
All non-defective returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee with a $15 minimum. Please note, items returned without packaging or destroyed packaging will be subject to up to a 50% restocking fee. Customer is also responsible for return shipping charges. If a prepaid return label is provided, it will be deducted from the refund (in addition to the restocking fee). All returns must be received within 15 days from the date of purchase or they will be refused. Please do not return an order prior to receiving a return authorization. Returns not receiving prior authorization will be refused. Ammo and Food cannot be returned due to safety reasons (no exceptions). Scopes, binoculars, flashlights, software, DVD's, electronic Devices, Hearing Protectors, Lasers, Rangefinders, Lights and other electronic devices are covered by the manufacturer, and must be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. No refunds or returns are accepted on these types of items. We only carry Electronic Devices that are covered under warranty by a reputable manufacturer. Please consult your owner’s manual for warranty information. Please use the “Contact Us” form to receive a return authorization.
All firearm orders require Federal Firearms License (FFL) paperwork to ship. Firearm orders over 10-days old without FFL paperwork will be canceled and charged a 10% restocking fee with a $15 minimum.
Returns on firearms that have been transferred to you are not allowed. Once a new firearm is transferred, it is considered used, even if unfired. It is the customer’s responsibility to fully inspect the firearm at their FFLs location prior to accepting it into their possession. We do understand that some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection, however by purchasing a firearm from us, you agree that upon discovering a defect in your transferred firearm that you will work with the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with their warranty policy).

If you’re not satisfied with your order, you may return most items within 15 days of purchase to receive a refund, credit or replacement. Firearms, Ammunition, and Food are not returnable or refundable all sales are final.
 
 
Ordering
How to Buy a Pistol, Rifle or Shotgun
Federal firearms laws prevent the sale of a weapon from Flint Armament directly to an individual in another state (we are located in Rhode Island). We must ship your firearm directly to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) Dealer near you. The steps to follow are:
1. Order your firearm online using our secure shopping cart. If you know the dealer you are going to use at time of order placement (not a requirement) enter his/her name into the 'Ship To' field.
2. Find a dealer near you that will accept the transfer of the firearm for you. Most sporting goods stores and pawn shops will provide this service for a small fee. Also, gun clubs, shooting ranges, etc. may provide this service to you. If you don't know which dealer to use in your area, check our FFL Dealer file to help you locate one near you. We have access to a large list of dealers in the USA that will gladly handle a transfer for you. Most dealers charge around $25-35 for a transfer. You must confirm the transfer with your local dealer in advance.
3. Next, have the dealer send us a copy of his/her signed license if we don't already have it on file. Please Note: It is now legal for us to accept a faxed or e-mailed copy of your dealer’s license! Print out this convenient coversheet, fill it out and give it to your dealer to fax with his/her license. That's all there is to it!
4. Make sure the dealer knows the firearm is coming from us. If you used a dealer that we already had on file, call him to let him know that a gun for you is on the way.
5. We will send you an email when the firearm ships, which will include a tracking number.
 
Age Restrictions on Firearms
You must be 21 years of age to purchase a handgun or shotgun with a pistol grip. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a rifle or standard shotgun (without a pistol grip.)
 
Age Restrictions on Ammunition
You must be 21 years or older to order ammunition. Ammunition must ship ground due to Department of Transportation regulations, please check local laws before ordering. No returns on ammunition or ammunition components (bullets, brass, etc.) Adult Signature is required on all ammunition shipments.
 
Law Enforcement and Government Orders
For Individual Officers wishing to order 'Law Enforcement Only' Firearms, the following specific legal requirements (with limitations) apply:
1. A letter, Law Enforcement Form, from your Department Chief, Sheriff, or Shift Supervisor authorizing such purchase. This letter must state:
A- The weapon/s (or magazines) are for the Officer's use in his/her official duties
B- Said purchaser understands the gun cannot be resold for non-duty use
C- That said buyer's record has been checked and found clear of any misdemeanor crime or domestic violence conviction.
2. The weapon will be paid directly by the Individual Officer.
3. If the Individual Officer leaves the Law Enforcement Agency, ownership of the weapon may be transferred to another Law Enforcement Agency through a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer, or presented to said officer by the department, after which he will own and use the firearm a he sees fit, but cannot sell the firearm to a civilian.

Credit Card: You can order your product online using our secure server. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. All products must include the billing address on the credit card. All transactions are authorized for the full amount at time the order is placed. Please contact your financial provider for more information regarding Authorizations.
All prices are subject to change without notice. However, we will contact you if prices change, before we ship. This applies to all items, including special orders and backorders. Due to the special nature of some items, exact prices are not known until delivery is made to us.
We reserve all rights of final pricing.
Many items with a long lead-time may change in price over time; there is no guarantee that we will be able to ship at the ordered price if the manufacturer changes the price to us, although we do strive to keep your price the same.

After you complete your purchase, a confirmation page will be displayed with your web order number and order information. We'll also email a confirmation to you, so be sure to enter your correct email address when placing an order.
